Ingredients
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour1/4 cup wheat bran1 tablespoon sugar2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder1/2 teaspoon salt1 large egg, room temperature1 large egg white, room temperature1-1/2 cups fat-free milk2 tablespoons canola oil1/3 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
In a bowl, whisk together first 5 ingredients. In another bowl, whisk together egg, egg white, milk and oil; add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened. Fold in pecans.
Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions until golden.
