Ingredients
1/2 cup water1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste2 tablespoons cider vinegar1 envelope sloppy joe seasoning2 pounds beef stew meat (3/4-inch cubes)1 celery rib, cut into 1/2-inch slices1 medium green pepper, cut into 1/2-inch chunksHot cooked rice or noodles
Preparation
In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine the water, tomato paste, vinegar and sloppy joe seasoning. Stir in the beef, celery and green pepper. Cook, covered, on high for 4-5 hours or until meat is tender. Serve with rice.
