Ingredients
1 pound ground beef1 medium onion, chopped2 garlic cloves, minced1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained1 medium tart apple, peeled and chopped1/3 cup raisins1 tablespoon chili powder3/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon ground cumin1/4 teaspoon allspice1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
In a large skillet, cook beef, onion and garlic over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the tomatoes, apple, raisins and seasonings; mix well. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
