Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1/4 c. bread crumbs

1 large egg

1 tbsp. yellow mustard

1 tbsp. ketchup

1/4 tsp. garlic powder

Kosher salt

Freshly ground black pepper

Vegetable oil

3 slices cheddar, quartered

1 jar pickle chips

Lettuce

Sliced tomato

Preparation

Step 1Make the patties: In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, mustard, ketchup, and garlic powder together with a wooden spoon. Season with salt and pepper and stir gently to combine. Form the mixture into small patties.Step 2In a large skillet over medium heat, heat vegetable oil. Add the beef patties and cook for about 3 minutes, until the bottoms develop a nice seared crust. Flip and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes, then add the cheese slices to the tops of the patties. Cover the pan with a large lid and cook until cheese melts.Step 3Assemble the sliders: Place 10 pickle chips (or however many patties you have cooked) on a serving platter. Top each pickle with lettuce, tomato, and a cooked patty. Top with another pickle chip and serve immediately.
