Ingredients

8 boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each)1 tablespoon canola oil1 cup uncooked long grain rice1 can (14-1/2 ounces) chicken broth1/2 cup water1 small onion, chopped1 package (10 ounces) frozen peas1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Preparation

In a large skillet over medium heat, brown pork chops in oil; remove. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan; top with pork chops.

Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender.
