Ingredients
1 medium onion, finely chopped1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste1/4 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth2 tablespoons brown sugar1 tablespoon cider vinegar1 tablespoon yellow mustard1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce2 garlic cloves, minced2 teaspoons chili powder3/4 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper1-1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts6 whole wheat hamburger buns, split
Preparation
In a small bowl, mix the first 11 ingredients. Place chicken in a 3-qt. slow cooker. Pour sauce over top.
Cook, covered, on low until chicken is tender, 4-5 hours. Remove chicken; cool slightly. Shred meat with 2 forks. Return to slow cooker; heat through. Serve on buns.
