1-1/2 pounds ground beef1 medium onion, chopped1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed tomato soup, undiluted1/2 cup canned pumpkin1 teaspoon salt1/2 to 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice1/4 teaspoon pepper6 to 8 hamburger buns, split

Preparation

In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Add the chili sauce, soup, pumpkin, salt, pumpkin pie spice and pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 1 hour or until thickened. Serve on buns.
