Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened1/2 cup shortening3/4 cup sugar3/4 cup packed brown sugar2 large eggs, room temperature1 teaspoon vanilla extract2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup semisweet chocolate chips1 cup white baking chips1 cup dried cranberries1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chips, cranberries and pecans.
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake until golden brown, 9-11 minutes. Cool on pans 2 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
