Ingredients

1 medium onion, chopped2 tablespoons vegetable oil1 cup water1 cup ketchup1/2 cup cider vinegar2 tablespoons sugar2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce2 teaspoons ground mustard2 teaspoons paprika1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce6 hot dogsHot cooked rice

Preparation

In a small saucepan, saute onion in oil until tender. Stir in the water, ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika and pepper sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.

Cut hot dogs in half lengthwise and then widthwise. Place in a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Top with sauce. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until heated through. Serve with rice.
